Java/J2EE Developer for JUnit Tests
Software Diversified Services seeks an experienced Java/J2EE developer for a short-term contract to design and implement JUnit (4.x) tests.
SDS will provide a set of classes and methods, and some basic information about how the classes interrelate. The resulting test library should provide complete code coverage of the given classes and methods and should be extensible for future growth of and modifications to the product.
Required Skills:
- Java 5 and Ant
- Eclipse
- JUnit 4.x (preferable 4.4 or later)
- Spring 2.5 (or later) for Dependency Injection
- JMock (or equivalent mocking library)
Preferred Skills:
- EclEmma (or equivalent code coverage tool, eg, Clover)
- JDBC, Hibernate 3.3 (or later), and the DAO design pattern
- Experience designing and implementing integration level tests
- Tomcat 6
Optional Skills:
- Experience designing tests to stress an asynchronous application and expose potential problems (race conditions, concurrent modification errors, etc.)
- Swing and Applet (UI) testing
- JAXB / Castor / JiBX and schema to code generation tools
