Abstract:
Virtel Web Access (VWA) is a full-feature thin-client browser-based 3270 terminal emulator. It has been deployed for over 15 years as a modern alternative to applet based TN3270 emulators such as IBM® PCOMM, Attachmate® EXTRA, Rocket® Terminal Emulator (BlueZone®), or Micro Focus® Reflection®.
Virtel’s new application selection menu is an integrated session management facility. Each new browser tab hosts a new 3270 TE session – up to 6 concurrent sessions depending on browser. Applications can be grouped by type inside separate menu sections. Each section can be collapsed to hide applications that are not frequently accessed or expended to display frequently accessed applications.
