MINNEAPOLIS, MN – August 12, 2018 – Software Diversified Services™ (SDS), a global leader in mainframe software, announces the availability of SDS IronSphere for z/OS, an ISCM solution for the IBM® mainframe that provides complete visibility of system risks. IronSphere continuously monitors the mainframe, automatically performing security scans and looking for system vulnerabilities, insufficient settings, and modified operands.
Security scans are based on z/OS RACF or Top Secret STIGs (Security Technical Information Guides) which contain optimized configuration and policy information. IronSphere automatically compares each application to its STIG to detect discrepancies. The resulting real-time report identifies any errors, categorizes them by risk level, and charts the findings. It even describes how to resolve the problem.
No z/OS expertise is required! An intuitive, browser-based GUI shows z/OS vulnerabilities and solutions.
A dashboard reports the health of each system with color-coded graphs for any level of user. More detailed information is displayed in easy-to-understand charts and tables. Data can be filtered and sorted per system, LPAR, group, severity level, or other criteria, meeting the needs of any security or management team.
IronSphere can validate that an application or group is in compliance with security standards and a log history can conclusively prove system integrity. IronSphere helps comply with GDPR, NIST ISCM, and Department of Defense requirements, and helps simplify these complicated mandates.
SDS IronSphere for z/OS provides:
- STIG diagnostics and reporting
- Continuous risk monitoring
- ISCM and GDPR compliance
- Real-time vulnerability reporting
- Risk resolution sent to your inbox
- Automated mainframe GRC
- Complete network visibility
- Simplified internal and compliance audits
